21/22-56 Penfield

To resolve draft budget and agreement in principal to the bid and layout.

To discuss following:

Could the locks on the gates now be changed so that the limited number of volunteers who need access can get entry without having to climb over/around the gates.
Visibility of traffic when exiting the site car park is not good due to tree spread along the north side of the site and some tree removal may be advisable. Do we know for sure where our boundary ends and where the County Highways/drainage Board responsibility lies? The question of boundary ownership also needs addressing with regard to the footpath that leads to the site where we may wish to undertake some planting.
There was an agreement that Hansons would clear the site footpaths before handover to the council. They appear to have done this last year when they also installed rabbit fencing and contract completion seemed imminent. However contract completion didn’t happen and the footpaths are again overgrown. I assume all obligations on Hanson are now superseded?
Do the council have preferred suppliers for tree felling/chainsaw work?
