Public Forum: There will be a public forum starting at 7 pm and lasting for up to 30 minutes when members of the public may ask questions or make short statements on items relating to the agenda below to the Council.

i)To resolve to procure Village Gates and to pursue funding for their purchase. – Cllr Hallam
iii) To Resolve to purchase a “Cornilleau” outdoor table tennis table to be located on the safer surface near the see saw at EEP. The cost is £1457.50 ex VAT (£1,749 Inclusive) delivered.  With additional installation costs of approximately £150.    Recommendation received from The Amenities group meeting 12 July 2021. The amenities group will fit the table when it arrives.
ii)To Resolve purchase of Dog 500 dog fouling leaflet at a cost of £60 and the cost of the holders approx. cost £20
d) Finance & General Purpose
i)To resolve to open accounts with Branch Brothers, Screwfix and Amazon.
e) Events:  
a)Footpaths: To receive report from Cllr. Yvonne McCulloch
f) Planning Issues
i)To discuss the information on ‘Understanding planning’ training offered by LALC.
g) Grapevine. To resolve to print an edition (if enough copy received)

RULES FOR OPEN PUBLIC FORUM AT MEETINGS

Extracted from Langtoft Parish Council Standing Orders

 
 
11. Members of the public may make representations, answer questions and give evidence at a meeting which they are entitled to attend in respect of the business on the agenda.
12. The period of time designated for public participation at a meeting in accordance with standing order 3(k) shall not exceed 30 minutes unless directed by the chairman of the meeting.
13. Subject to standing order 3(l), a member of the public shall not speak for more than 3 minutes.
14. In accordance with standing order 3(k), a question shall not require a response at the meeting nor start a debate on the question. The chairman of the meeting may direct that a written or oral response be given.
15. A person shall raise his hand when requesting to speak and stand when speaking (except when a person has a disability or is likely to suffer discomfort)]. The chairman of the meeting may at any time permit a person to be seated when speaking.
16. A person who speaks at a meeting shall direct his comments to the chairman of the meeting.
17. Only one person is permitted to speak at a time. If more than one person wants to speak, the chairman of the meeting shall direct the order of speaking.
