2023 East End Park Slide Renovation
This slide and combined climbing frame was constructed specifically for the park and was very well made, very sturdy with plenty of joints and nuts and bolts.
However many parts had reached the end of their life and needed replacing especially the wooden bars that were used for climbing up to the top to access the slide down.
Some of our councillors along with some Penfield volunteers got to work, and over 3 or 4 weekends brought it back to a safe and usable playground item. Thank you.
All fenced off for safety.
So now the deconstruction can start.

All painted, waiting now until next weekend.
New climbing sections added and painted, looking good!
All fixed, renewed, and brightly painted ready for the next 20 years.
