Minutes of an Extra Ordinary Parish Council Meeting via Zoom link on

Present: Cllr Andy Halfhide (Chair), Cllr. Andy Hallam (Vice Chair) and Cllrs. Debbie Hallam, Angela Brogan, Yvonne McCulloch, Steve Valentine and Brian Branch
Agenda
20/21-70 Chairman’s welcome and remarks. Cllr. Halfhide welcomed everyone to the meeting.
20/21-71 Apologies: there were none.
20/21-72 Resolution to exclude press and public to allow discussion on financial matters was RESOLVED unanimously.
20/21-73 Quotations of goal post for Black Bull Green.
Cllr Halfhide presented the 2 quotes received for the replacement of goal posts and their installation on Black Bull Green (BBG) and East End Park (EEP) to comply with current legislation.
Quotations from EnvironSK and Andy Richmond.
RESOLVED to accept the quotation from Andy Richmond of BBG £1450 +VAT and EEP £1650 + VAT this included the removal of the existing posts.
Proposed by Cllr Andy Halfhide seconded Cllr Andy Hallam unanimously voted in favour.
Action: Clerk to place order with Andy Richmond.
20/21-74 Play Areas – risk assessment and potential re opening to the public of BBG and EEP.
A Covid-19 risk assessment had been done by Cllrs. Andy and Debbie Hallam.
Points for attention
- To limit number of people in BBG to 6 a maximum at any one time
- To install one way system - BBG
- To mark social distance areas with tape where possible, such as benches etc
- Limit usage of park to 30 minutes - BBG
A Task list was drawn up
- Hire of petrol jet - Clerk
- Clean all play equipment and surfaces – Cllrs. Halfhide/Branch
- Laminate signage to comply with current legislation – Cllr. Halfhide
- To source costs of more permeant signage – Cllr. Halfhide
- Erect a new notice board at BBG for the new signage – Cllr. Halfhide/Hallam
- Repair matting – BBG – Cllr Halfhide/Branch
- Repair zip wire – EEP – Cllrs Halfhide/Branch
- Erect signage -BBG/EEP – Cllrs. Hallam’s/McCulloch/Brogan
- All play equipment to be disinfected once a week – Employee duties
- Install hand sanitiser units at both parks – Cllr. Halfhide
- Check with insurers that parks will then comply and are able to open - Clerk
Proposed re opening date for the park is Saturday 1 August 2020
