Community Engagement Working Party.

Working Party members

Objective: -

To nurture connection and engagement across the various community groups, education, business, sports and public groups to support and enhance amenities and services available to the village.
Drive active communication to village residents on events, reviews, parish news.
Provide PC with pulse on village sentiment, support for other working parties in terms of developing communication/media needs.
Work with all community groups to ensure a varied and inclusive annual event plan.

Scope: -

Connection and leverage of Community groups
PC events calendar, events planning & execution.
PC communication strategy, policy, and support for all media activity – Grapevine, LiL, Website, advertising, insights
Business connection, engagement, support, and sponsorship
Member of VHMC
Insights into Village demographics and need for support.
Connection with public services – Drs, Police, Schools, transport company’s etc.
Provide insights.

attendance/membership to events PC and all other community groups
Monitor media what’s going on, village concerns, any commentary about the PC.
Review number website hits and most viewed areas.
Post to website and LiL agreed material.
Gather unsolicited commentary +\- on issues in the village to inform PC on potential new requirements.
